Sandburg Fans can Sign Up for Texts, Emails of Game Results With SportReporting.com

Carl Sandburg College Chargers fans now have a way to get results sent straight to their phone and email.
Sandburg has partnered with SportReporting.com for Chargers fans to get news of games and events sent to them faster than ever before. All fans have to do is visit carlsandburg.sportreporting.com/signup and enter their cellphone number, cellphone carrier and email address to get registered. (NOTE: Users will receive a confirmation email to verify their email address. Sometimes the email may end up in your spam folder, so please check. You must confirm your email account before receiving any SportReporting.com emails)
After that, they’ll be notified via text message and/or email when results of a Chargers game or event are submitted. Text messages will show the final score of the game or Chargers’ placement in the event, and emails include more detailed boxscore information such as statistical leaders.
Fans can choose to receive notifications for any or all of Sandburg’s 10 NJCAA teams — men’s cross country, women’s cross country, men’s golf, women’s golf, men’s soccer, volleyball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, softball and baseball.
Additional Chargers information, game recaps, photos, videos and more will continue to be shared on the Sandburg Athletics Facebook page, @SandburgNJCAA on Twitter and sandburg.edu.
SportReporting.com is a platform first developed about 10 years ago by a collegiate athletic communications professional and an IT colleague as a way to streamline the result reporting process and give fans a more immediate way to learn how their favorite team fared. It received a 2019 Innovation of the Year Award from the League for Innovation in the Community College.
